In 1976, a blind tasting in Paris changed the wine world. California wines were placed alongside some of France’s most celebrated bottles—and, to the surprise of nearly everyone, California came out on top.

Fifty years later, we invite you to revisit that rivalry.

Join us for an intimate VIP tasting exploring California and France side by side. Across Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet/Bordeaux, we’ll examine how two great wine cultures express grape variety, place and winemaking tradition in distinctly different ways.

We’ll begin the evening with Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut, followed by three comparative flights, each flight will be accompanied by family style small plates:

A $75 deposit per guest is required to reserve your place. Your full $75 deposit will be applied as a credit toward any wines purchased during the event.
